The first 200 hours of this course will focus on the
advanced study of the Ashtanga Yoga primary series. During the remaining 100hours of the course, students will have the option to continue with their
primary series of exercises or begin preparation for the intermediate series.
The last two weeks of the course will be a tasty introduction to the dynamic
intermediate series. Although the student will be given the option, it is
ultimately at the discretion of the teacher if the student is ready to begin
the intermediate series or if he must continue working in the primary series.
It is important that the body is prepared for advanced asanas to reap the
benefits of exercise.
Our 300-hour primary series of the Ashtanga Yoga teacher
training course is open to practicing yogis who have already completed 200hours of YTT at a school registered with Yoga Alliance USA in Ashtanga or any
other method. Applicants must have a basic familiarity with the primary
Ashtanga Yoga series and be prepared to physically challenge their body. If you
are completely new to Ashtanga Yoga, take our 200-hour teacher training course
New to Ashtanga Yoga or the primary Ashtanga Yoga series to a 200-hour course.
This will ensure that you learn the Ashtanga yoga system with a solid
foundation on which to build your personal teaching and practice. And, if you
have already completed the Ashtanga Yoga TTC, a 200-hour primary series from the school registered with Yoga Alliance USA, and you are sure that you can now
move on to the Asan of Intermediate series, submit the 300-hour YTT
intermediate application to the Ashtadhyay Yoga TTC series
